Contact Guarantee & refund policy

Bad-contact refund requests
A contractor may request a cash refund when the homeowner cannot be reached, subject to the evidence and contact rules below.
- Wait at least 72 hours after purchase before submitting a bad-contact refund request.
- Log at least 3 call attempts spanning at least 2 different local calendar days. Each qualifying call must show at least 15 seconds in the call log so one-ring attempts do not count.
- Make Florida project calls only between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the homeowner's local time, and do not make more than three commercial solicitation calls about the same project in any 24-hour period.
- Attach a different call-log proof/reference to each qualifying call.
- Leave a voicemail when the phone system allows it. If voicemail is unavailable, log that instead.
- Send at least one project-specific text message and one email. Do not use a mass message, unrelated marketing message, prerecorded/artificial-voice advertisement, or automated sales campaign merely to satisfy refund evidence.
- Use the homeowner's preferred first-contact method first where reasonably practicable, and respect any stated best-contact-time information.
- Submit the request within 7 days of purchase.
- A connected or reached homeowner is not eligible as a bad-contact claim.
Stop-contact rule: These are no-response requirements only. If the homeowner responds, declines further contact, asks you to stop, or Connect-A-Pro notifies you that contact permission was revoked, stop outreach immediately. Do not continue contact attempts merely to satisfy refund evidence.
Compliance rule: Contact attempts must comply with the current Terms of Use and applicable calling, texting, do-not-call, caller-ID, licensing, registration, automated-contact, and recordkeeping requirements. The homeowner's general Connect-A-Pro project consent is not seller-specific written permission for an unnamed contractor to bypass the National Do Not Call Registry. Meeting this refund checklist does not excuse unlawful outreach.
Other refund reasons, including a materially wrong project, wrong trade, duplicate project request, outside territory, material misdescription, or a homeowner who did not request the work, are reviewed against the purchase record and supporting evidence.
Approved claims are refunded to the original payment method. Bank or card processing time can vary after the refund is issued.
