Terms of Use

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Connect-A-Pro is operated by Vincent Loxotn. Connect-A-Pro helps homeowners describe home-service projects and allows participating contractors to evaluate and purchase access to individual project leads. Connect-A-Pro is not the contractor performing the home-service work and is not a party to the homeowner's contract with a contractor.

Homeowner eligibility and project requests

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to request service for the property or project you submit. You agree to provide accurate project and contact information and not to submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, medical information, account passwords, or other information that is unnecessary for the project. Do not use Connect-A-Pro for emergencies or situations requiring immediate life-safety response.

Homeowner contact authorization

By submitting a project and checking the required consent box, you expressly request contact about that specific project and authorize Connect-A-Pro to provide your project and contact details to the one participating contractor that obtains the lead. The contractor pays Connect-A-Pro a lead fee for that access. You request project-related contact from that contractor by phone call, individually sent text message, or email, subject to applicable do-not-call and contact laws. Because the contractor is not identified when you submit the project, this general project request is not represented by Connect-A-Pro as seller-specific written permission for a future contractor to disregard the National Do Not Call Registry or another applicable do-not-call restriction. Your stated contact method is your preferred first-contact method and should be used first where reasonably practicable.

The project-contact authorization does not authorize unrelated marketing, resale of your information, mass messaging, prerecorded advertising, artificial-voice sales calls, ringless voicemail advertising, or automated sales outreach by the contractor. A contractor that wants to use automated, prerecorded, artificial-voice, or similar regulated outreach must independently obtain and document any additional consent required by applicable law. You may tell Connect-A-Pro or the contractor to stop further contractor contact at any time, and that stop request must be honored.

Connect-A-Pro may send service-related verification, project-status, and contractor-connection calls, texts, or emails connected to the service you requested. Those communications are not permission for unrelated marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Where offered, you may use a voice-verification option if SMS is unavailable.

Paid lead access

Homeowner contact details and private project information are not displayed in the open contractor marketplace. When a participating contractor validly obtains the lead, that contractor pays Connect-A-Pro for access to the homeowner contact information and private project details needed to discuss the requested work. The information is provided for that project only and not as a general-purpose marketing list.

Contractors

Contractors are independent businesses, not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Connect-A-Pro. Contractors are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, qualifications, permits, estimates, contracts, workmanship, taxes, safety practices, and compliance with applicable law. No contractor has authority to make promises or commitments on behalf of Connect-A-Pro. Lead purchases are governed by the price displayed at checkout and the current Connect-A-Pro Contact Guarantee/refund policy accepted by the contractor.

Contractor screening

Connect-A-Pro may require contractor applicants to submit licensing and insurance information and may review those records before marketplace activation. Marketplace access may be withheld or paused when required credential information is missing, changed, expired, or cannot be verified. This screening is an administrative marketplace control and is not a guarantee that a contractor is qualified, licensed, insured, or legally authorized for every specific job scope. Homeowners and contractors remain responsible for confirming the requirements that apply to the actual work.

Contractor contact rules

A purchased lead may be used only to contact the homeowner about the requested project. Contractors may not resell, transfer, scrape, publish, append to unrelated marketing lists, or use homeowner lead information for unrelated marketing. At the beginning of a live phone conversation, the contractor should clearly identify the caller and the business represented. Contractors must use accurate caller identification and may not spoof or conceal their identity.

For Florida project leads, contractor sales calls must not be placed before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. in the homeowner's local time, and no more than three commercial solicitation calls may be made to the same person about the same project within any 24-hour period. Before placing a telephone solicitation call or marketing text, contractors must independently determine and comply with any federal or state Do Not Call Registry restriction that applies, including any required registry access, suppression, internal do-not-call procedure, or seller-specific permission. The Connect-A-Pro project-consent record is not a representation that a future unnamed contractor has seller-specific written permission to bypass the National Do Not Call Registry. Contractors must follow any stricter federal, state, local, carrier, or industry rule that applies and respect the homeowner's preferred first-contact method and best-contact-time information where reasonably practicable.

Contractors must promptly honor any request to stop further contact. After a stop request or platform revocation is received, the contractor may not call, text, email, or otherwise continue outreach about the project merely to create refund evidence. Contractors are independently responsible for applicable do-not-call, telephone-solicitation, licensing, registration, texting, caller-ID, prerecorded-message, artificial-voice, automated-contact, and recordkeeping requirements. A Connect-A-Pro consent record documents the homeowner's project-contact request; it is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing, robocalls, robotexts, prerecorded advertising, or artificial-voice advertising.

Text-message terms

Connect-A-Pro may send homeowners service-related verification, project-status, and contractor-connection texts after the homeowner requests a project and provides the required consent. Contractors may separately opt in to optional lead-alert texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a Connect-A-Pro text to stop future texts from that sender; reply START to opt back in where supported, or HELP for help. Contractors do not have to enable SMS lead alerts to use the marketplace.

Payments and refunds

Connect-A-Pro uses a per-lead model. A lead fee buys access to the lead information described at checkout; it does not buy a completed job or guarantee homeowner response. Refund eligibility is governed by the current Contact Guarantee/refund policy accepted by the contractor and the required evidence. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method; bank or card processing time may vary. Duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, manipulated, or otherwise ineligible claims may be denied. Nothing in these Terms requires a contractor to continue contacting a homeowner after the homeowner responds, declines further contact, or asks the contractor to stop.

No guarantee of a job

A purchased lead is an opportunity to contact a homeowner about a submitted project, not a promise of a booked job, revenue, homeowner response, project value, or contract award. Project information is based substantially on information submitted by the homeowner and may change.

Marketplace relationship and responsibility for work

Any estimate, agreement, payment for home-service work, warranty, permit obligation, or dispute concerning the work is between the homeowner and contractor. To the extent permitted by law, Connect-A-Pro is not responsible for a contractor's or homeowner's acts, omissions, workmanship, property damage, personal injury, contract performance, or failure to comply with licensing or permit requirements. Nothing in these Terms waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Suspension and misuse

Connect-A-Pro may restrict or suspend marketplace access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, address expired or unverifiable credentials, comply with law, or protect the security and operation of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, subject to applicable federal law and any non-waivable rights that apply.
